Margaret Downs

Margaret Downs age 90 yrs died peacefully at her daughter’s Cathy and son-in-law Rick’s home November 20th, 2022, surrounded by her son Mark, daughter Cathy and son-in-law Rick. She was born July 29, 1932 to Nicolas Coca and Tomasita Coca Martinez in Las Vegas, NM.

She preceded in death by her husband Bill Downs, her parents Nicolas and Tomasita and her brother Michael Coca. She had 7 children, I adopted daughter, 22 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, one great great grandchild,7 brothers and one sister.

Services will be held at IC Church in Las Vegas, NM with a Rosary at 9:00am and follow by at 9:30am mass.

The burial will follow at San Jose Cemetery and a gathering at The Palms on the plaza.

Margaret was honored that she started up the sewing club for the senior citizen in Las Vegas, NM.
