Margaret L. Armijo

Margaret L. Armijo passed away on Wednesday, November 21, 2017, after a lengthy illness. She was preceded in death by her mother, Josephine Cordelia Lyles; her aunt Teresita Hoover; her uncle Dan Hoover; her partner, Glen Williamson; and the father of her children, Alfred (Luke) Armijo. Margaret is survived by her loving sons Paul Armijo (Carla) and Mickey Armijo (Robbie), her grandsons Vincent Sandoval and Matthew Armijo, granddaughters Kendall and Carson Armijo; and great-granddaughters Layla and Brisaya Sandoval. Margaret graduated from the College of Santa Fe and retired from the State of New Mexico. Although originally from Santa Fe, she lived in Hobbs, NM for the past 20 years. Margaret was a beautiful and intelligent person who was young at heart. She loved her family and was very proud of her sons and grandchildren. We’d like to thank Margaret’s caregivers in Hobbs: Maria, Anna, Ashley, and Ofelia. They were loving, kind, and devoted to Margaret. We are deeply grateful for their care. Services will be held on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at 11:00am at the Kiva Chapel of Light.
