Margaret L. Ortiz

Margaret L. Ortiz, born June 7, 1914 in Pecos, NM, died peacefully on Wednesday February 2, 2011 in Espanola, NM. She was preceded in death by her parents, Santiago and Helena Hands-Lujan, her husband, Lorenzo Ortiz, sisters, Remedios Gonzales, Cirila Hands, Agueda gonzales, Guadalupe Sena, Lucina Griego and brother, Henry Lujan. She is survived by her son, Lawrence Ortiz (Ernestine); daughter, Glorianna "Goldie" Ledbetter, sister, Jane Archuleta, six granddaughters, Kathy Fulton and husband Doug, Carolyn Helland and husband Greg, Elizabeth Brier and husband Dave, Laura Gustin and husband Bob, Lolli Villanueva and husband Matt, Sherrie Miller and husband Mike, 12 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and other relatives. Recitation of the Rosary was held February 5, 2011 at Rivera Family Funeral Home in Espanola. The Mass of Christian Burial was also celebrated February 5, at La Iglesia De La Santa Cruz De La Canada.
