Margaret Sena

Margaret A. Sena - age 87, went to be with our Lord on Thursday, May 15, 2008. Margaret was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and god-mother. She was a life long-resident of Ojo Caliente, and most recently of Albuquerque. Margaret was preceded in death by her loving husband of 67 years, Antonio Sena; loving daughter, Cecilia Martinez; parents, Margarito and Amada Alire; sister, Estella Alire; sisters-in-law, Louise Alire, Josie Ramey, Carmen Sena, and Lucy Sena; brothers-in-law, Pete Sena, Eliseo Sena, and Joe Sena. Margaret is survived by her loving daughter, Amelia Galvez and husband Lupe of Albuquerque; son-in-law Roy Martinez of Espanola; six grandchildren, Carla Martinez and Brenda Martinez and companion Lee Salazar of Espanola; David Galvez and wife Lupe, Vincent Galvez, Emmanuel Galvez and wife Sheri, and Mario Galvez, all of Albuquerque. Her only brother, Paul Alire of Denver, Colorado; 3 sisters-in-law, Lupe Sena of Ojo Caliente; Sally Sena and Lucy Garrison of Richmond, California. Margaret was blessed with 11 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Margaret is also survived by several special nieces, nephews, god-children and friends. A rosary will be recited on Monday, May 19, 2008 at 7 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Espanola. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 12 noon at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, with interment will follow at 2 p.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery in Santa Fe.
