Maria Consuelo Mares

Maria Consuelo "Connie" Mares, 76, of Canon passed away on February 24, 2007. She is preceded in death by her husband, Eduardo Mares, parents, Antonio & Anita Sanchez, sisters, Marcelina Santistevan and Lucilla Quintana, brothers, Aurelio & Juan Sanchez. She is survived by her children, Alfred R. Mares (Deborah) of Albuquerque, Vickie R. Rodriguez (Teodoro) of Grants, Mike Mares (Roberta) of Ranchos de Taos, JoAnne Sandoval (Tommy) of Taos, Elsie Marquez (Vicente) of Tulsa, OK, Larry, George and Alice Mares all of Taos. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, brother, Ben Sanchez, sisters, Lucinda Velasquez and Vangie Martinez (Antonio) all of Pueblo, CO and many other relatives. Rosary was recited on February 26, 2007. Funeral mass was held on February 27, 2007. Both services were held at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Canon.
