Maria Duran

Marie Margarita Duran, 91, of Costilla passed away on August 12, 2015. She is preceded in death by her husband, Juan Duran, son, Joey Duran, parents, Julian and Rebecca Martinez, sister, Rosa Medelez (Pete), Adelida Martinez (Tony) and brothers, Felipe Martinez (Jennie), Telesforo Martinez (Alice) and Don Martinez (Liz) and great grandson, Juan Miguel Lucero. She is survived by her children, Jennie Duran, Jose Duran (Jean), Demecio Duran (Alma) Betty Eckert (Fred), Margie Jacquez (Dennis), John Duran, Donald Goober Duran (Ruby), Geraldine Duran, Joey Duran (Diana) and Monica Duran, 20 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren, many other relatives and friends. Rosary was recited on August 14, 2015. Funeral mass was held on August 15, 2015. Both were held at Sacred Heart Church with interment following at the Amalia Cemetery.
