Maria Ercilia Lopez

Maria Ercilia Lopez, 93, of Chamisal passed away on June 16, 2010. She is preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Lopez, son, Johnny Lopez and daughter, Maria Reyes. She is survived by her children, Vickie Herrera (Joaquin) of Ranchos de Taos, Susie Roybal of Santa Fe, Evelyn Sanchez (Meliton) of West Jordan, UT, Juanita Ortega (William) of Penasco, James Lopez (Ester) of Bellflower, Ca, Arnold Lopez (Olivia) of Chamisal, Wilbert Lopez (Paquita) of Salt Lake City, UT and Samuel Lopez Jr. (Merlinda) of Chamisal. She is also survived by three grandchildren she raised Louann Muligan, Matthew Abeyta, Patrica Lucero and 35 grandchildren, 58 great-grandchildren, 9 great-great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends. Rosaries were recited on June 19, 2010 at Rivera Chapel and on June 20, 2010 at Santz Cruz Church in Chamisal. Funeral mass was held on June 21, 2010 at Santa Cruz Church. Interment was held at the Lower Chamisal Cemetery.
