Maria Flora Tapia

MARIA FLORA TAPIA 92, of Santa Fe, passed away December 24, 2012. She was born in San Miguel, NM on May 19, 1920. She is preceded in death by her parents, Luis and Ramoncita Gonzales Tapia; brothers: Manuel, Eloy (Avelina), Ernesto (Marianita), Raphael, Celestino and Timoteo (Martina) Tapia; sisters: Pelagia (Joaquin) Segura, and Arabella (Luciano) Lopez. She is survived by her daughters: Dolores Vigil (Ernest) and Maida Lopez (Mike); grandchildren: Carol, Leonard, Lorenzo Vigil, John (Quenby) Jacquez and Jose (Teena) Lopez; special step-grandson, Mikey Lopez; great grandchildren: Teresa, Brian, Elena and Ayla Vigil, Ariana and Peyton Jaquez and Lily Lopez; step great grandchildren: Paul and Hunter Jacquez and Nyah Hernandez; and sister-in-law, Rosalia Tapia. The family wishes to Thank Linda Lury, Tillie Leyba, Leann Chavez and Martha Encinias for helping us care for our Mother. Serving as Pallbearers will be: Leonard Vigil, John Jacquez, Jose Lopez, Joseph Tapia, Abran Tapia and Gilbert Lopez. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Lorenzo and Carol Vigil, Arnold Tapia and all her nieces and nephews. A Viewing was held at San Isidro Center on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at 6 p.m. with a Rosary at 7 p.m. A Mass was celebrated at San Isidro Center on Thursday, January 3, 2013 at 10 a.m. with interment at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 417 E. Rodeo Road.
