Maria Garcia

Maria Priscilla Garcia, age 89 passed away on Friday, September 30, 2016 from natural causes. Maria was born in Los Brazos, New Mexico. Maria was preceded in death by her husband, Jose Sixto Garcia, parents, Jose Del Carmel and Aurora Garcia, Daughters Stella Ulibarri, and Josephine Lovato. Son-in-laws, Everardo Ulibarri, Roy Cowell, Joe Martinez, and Frank Lovato. Her most precious and very much loved, little neighbor dog and guardian angel 'Melina Terrazas' from Los Brazos. Maria is survived by her daughter and caregiver, Frances Cowell from Chama, daughter, Cordy Martinez from Los Brazos, daughter, Doreen Garcia and husband, Leon from Los Lunas, son, Larry Garcia and wife Eva from Santa Fe, son, Jose Garcia and wife Karin from Los Brazos, brother, Nick Garcia from Chama and her beloved companions dogs, 'Gypsy' and Jasmine'. Cats, 'Snoopy' and 'Oreo'. Maria is also survived by 21 Grandchildren, 47 Great Grandchildren, and 28 Great-Great Grandchildren. Maria was a wonderful and most loved lady. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.A Rosary will be prayed on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at 6:00 PM at the San Jose Catholic Church in Los Ojos.Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, October 6, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the San Jose Catholic Church in Los Ojos. Serving the family as Pallbearers are Everardo Ulibarri Jr., Tony Martinez, Larry Garcia Jr., Damian Martinez, Daniel Leyba and Sabastian Cordova.
