Maria Leffelbein

December 20, 1931 — January 14, 2018

Maria Leffelbein died after a short illness on January 14, 2018, she was 86 years old, and was born in El Salvador, Central America. Maria was also known by her family and close friends as Pinita. She is preceded in death by first husband Frederico Alberto Herezi (Don Betio), mother Laura Apararicio-Melendez, father Daniel Serrano Piche, grandmother Sara Aparicio, great grandmother Nana Manuela Aparicio, brother Titi Aparicio. She is survived by husband Donald Leffelbein, sister Rosa Molina (Daniel), daughter Ana LeBlanc, step daughter Lois Turner (David), step son Roy Leffelbein (Nancy), grandchildren Nina Simone LeBlanc, Jack Robert LeBlanc, step grandchildren Spring Bean (Alan), Crystal Kunz (Daren), Forest Turner (Mary), Louise Saw (Simon), grand nephew David Molina, Dennis Molina, great grand niece Alyssa Molina, step great grand children Sierra Bean, Lauren Bean, Kyle Bean, Dimitri Bean, Lydia Kunz, Cecil Kunz, Johnathon Kunz, Michael Kunz, Emily Turner, Natalie Turner, Sara Turner, Matthew Turner, step great grand kids Sean Ferguson, Kane Feguson, Kane Ferguson, Brenden Cole, Bryson Cole. She led a long, happy and joyful life. She always lived life to the fullest. She was very active and youthful for her age, she loved music, dancing and playing ping pong. But, most importantly of all she loved taking care of and was very proud of her husband of 12 years, Don. Her beautiful life will be forever cherished in the lives of her family. Maria was one of the kindest and happy people you could ever meet and will be missed dearly. A Funeral service will be conducted at Emmanuel Lutheran Church. On Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at 11AM; with visitation beginning at 10AM. Rev. Douglas Escue will conduct the ceremony. Reception to follow after the service, all are welcome to attend and celebrate Maria’s life. Interment will be in Denver, Colorado the following day.
