Marianita "Anita" Romero Lieurance

Thursday, November 18, 2021 unfolded as a glorious day, crisp clean air with mystical light in Taos. Anita peacefully left for her eternal home surrounded by her loving family. She gave all she had to fight a very rare disease, Progressive SupraNuclear Palsy.  It was her strong willingness to continue her fight that gave rise to the messages she would send, only proving to all who received them that she was thinking of them and would love them forever. Anita left her imprint on whomever she met. Strangers were drawn to her beauty on the outside and simply also to her soulful being. All of those who loved her, which were many, are all left with a huge hole in our hearts. Anita loved her family, friends, her little dogs & cat with her whole being.

Anita was a loyal and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend to many who relished in her laughter & love. Anita is preceded in death by her parents John C. Romero, Josephina Romero “mom”, Geraldine Conner, Aunt Marianne Romero Thomas, sister, Yvette T. Romero Deegan, Rudy Nunez, the father to her 2 sons and first husband, and her great-granddaughter, Cera Dae Nunez.  She is survived by her loving husband Donovan Lieurance of 31 years, her sons, Chris & (wife) Delma, Jason Nunez and their families, her grandchildren Adam Flores, Desi Nunez, Loren Nunez, Christian Nunez, and Michael Nunez, great-granddaughter Ava Flores, and her loving Lieurance family, brother, Chris Romero, sister, Vicky L. Romero Allevato, all of her cousins, nieces, nephews and so many family and friends.

Marianita’s “Celebration of Life” will be held in Taos, New Mexico to be set in the Spring of 2022. Please keep her in your prayers and may she dance on the clouds.  In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to CurePSP @www.psp.org
