Mariann Bachert

Age 58, died suddenly on Friday morning following a lengthy illness with her family by her side. Mariann was loved by many and all of those whose life she touched will never forget her. She was born December 25th, 1958 and was raised in Las Vegas, NM. She was blessed with a loving family, charisma, many natural talents, and 4 grandchildren who she adored. She had a great sense of humor and a smile and laugh that even now can be heard reverberating from heaven. She was preceded in death by parents Warren and Betty Bachert, aunt Flora Crespin,grandparents Juan Pedro Crespin and Eufelia Montano Crespin, Betty Espinosa, Ethel Demerrit, and James Bachert: brothers in law, Leroy Baca, Jimmy Gallegos. She is survived by her loving sisters, Maribeth Bachert her twin sister, Geraldine Baca,Judy Gallegos, brother in law Moises Trujillo, daughter Crystal Ortiz, grandchildren Anthony de Paz, Daniel de Paz, Julianna de Paz and Christian de Paz: nieces and nephews Leroy Baca, Jeana Baca, Annette Baca, Angela Sanchez, Nestor Lopez, Joey Gallegos, Justin Gallegos, Colleen shirk, Candice ortiz, Cheryl Shirk, Jennifer Demerrit, Jerry A. Demerritt, Angelina Bachert, Michelle Bachert and many friends will miss Mariann. A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, August 30, at 10:00 a.m. at Rivera Family Funeral Home, 417 E. Rodeo Road, Santa Fe, NM. Burial will follow at Rosario Cemetery. The Family wishes to thank the staff, doctors, and nurses at Christus St. Vincent hospital for their compassionate care of our sister and mother.
