Maria Tafoya

Maria C. Tafoya, 103, of Black Lake passed away on December 29, 2007. She is preceded in death by her husband, Mardoqueo Tafoya, parents, Fermin and Genoveva Canderlario, infant daughter Elevina Tafoya and grandson, Ernest Padilla. She is survived by her children, Max Tafoya (Sophie), Joe Tafoya, Horcio Tafoya (Rufina), Gilbert Tafoya (Orlanda), Emily Padilla (Marvin), Rose Garcia, Juanita Hernandez (Francisco), Ernest Tafoya (Martha), Richard Tafoya (Beth), 38 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and six generations five times. Prayer service was held on Sunday, December 30, 2007 at Rivera Chapel. Funeral service was held on Monday, December 31, 2007 at Angel Fire Baptist Church. Funeral Mass was held on Monday December 31, 2007 at San Antonio Catholic Church in Black Lake. Internment was held at the San Antonio Cemetery.
