Marie Antonette Martinez

Marie Antonette Martinez, 79, a resident of Fairview passed away on May 31, 2013. She was full of life and active. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Marie Antonette Sanchez born Dec. 4, 1933. She is preceded in death by her husband Louis Martinez, parents, Marcos and Eduvigen Sedillo Sanchez, son Leonard Martinez, and brothers and sisters, Jose Onofre Sanchez, Gregorio Sanchez, Lizaida Sanchez, Juan Estaben Sanchez, Frances Sanchez, Abenicio Aurelio Sanchez, Carlota Eulailia Sanchez, Daniel Sanchez, Gertudes Sanchez, Josefa Amada Sanchez, Maria Florinda Gertudes Sanchez, Earl Marcos Sanchez, Jose Lafayette Sanchez. She taught for the Espanola Public Schools for numerous years. She enjoyed working outdoors and gardening. She is survived by her brother Marcos Earl Sanchez of Alcade, and children Louis Michael Martinez and wife Janet, Joseph Martinez, Louanna Martinez, 9 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren. Services were held on June 4, 2013 at the Lighthouse Church of Chimayo.
