Mark Anthony Segura

Mark Anthony Segura, 22, passed away on August 23, 2021. He was born on December 8, 1998 in Santa Fe, NM to Alba and Antonio Segura.

Mark is survived by his mother; Alba Segura, his father; Antonio Segura, sisters; Jennifer McElroy and Amy Segura, his brother; Edisson Delgado, his niece, nephew and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Mark was a beautiful soul who left us too soon, he touched the lives of so many people. Whether it was his intoxicating smile or the gentleness of his presence, he always found a way to make those around him happy. We feel so honored and proud to have been able to call him family. He was the most respectful, charismatic, humble, and kind young man.

Mark went through many trials and tribulations, but every step of the way, he never stopped believing in himself. The possibilities were endless for him, and he was determined to reach his goals. We recognize him as the star quarterback or basketball player who was always a team player and always accepted a challenge, whether on the field or the court.

During this time we want to thank everyone for the outpour of support. We also want to acknowledge the pain that his death has brought to our community.

A Viewing/Rosary will be held on Sunday, August 29, 2021 from 2:00-6:00 p.m. at Rivera Kiva Chapel of Light located at 417 E. Rodeo Road, Santa Fe, NM 87505. His mass will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe at 9:00 a.m. on Monday August 30th, followed by a last ride around the plaza and burial at Rosario cemetery.
