Mark F. Lopez

MARK F. LOPEZ October 31, 1959 ~ November 21, 2012 Mark passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones. He was a wonderful son, partner, brother, uncle and friend. Mark will be missed deeply by all who loved him. He was preceded in death by his Father, Gene Lopez; nephew Manuel Benavidez, and niece Kaylin Benavidez. He is survived by his Mother, Angelica Lopez; Partner, Don McTeigue; Sisters, Geneva, Katrina (Bobby) Consuelo, Ellena (Albert), Louisa (Eric), and Giovanni (Ray); his Brothers, Chris (Diane), Daniel (Leslie), and Gene (Esperanza). He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, other family members and many friends. A Rosary was recited at 9:00 am Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at San Isidro Catholic Church (Old Church), where a mass was celebrated at 10:00 am. Inurnment with full military honors took place at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 2:15 PM Tuesday, November 27, 2012.
