Mary Eve Martinez

Mary Eve Martinez, 65, a resident of Abiquiu passed away on July 22, 2012 surrounded by her family. Her family was her pride and joy and she loved to spend time with them. She was an amazing cook and she enjoyed going to the casino. She was preceded in death by her father and mother Gabriel and Corina Gallegos. She is survived by her husband Juan Duran, daughter: Karen Duran-Suazo and husband Joseph, two sons: Demetrio Martinez and wife Geraldine and Miguel Andres Duran and wife Kim, grandchildren: Alyssa, Justin, Damian, Tayler, Megan and Nathaniel, two great grandchildren: Mariah and Maison, sisters: Perla Davis and husband Charlie, Pablita Gugu Lujan, brothers: Eloy Pancho and wife Juanita and Lupe and wife Delfina Gallegos, and several nieces, nephews, and godchildren. A visitation and rosary were on July 24, 2012 at the Rivera Family Funeral Home Chapel in Espanola. A second rosary was recited on July 25, 2012 at St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Abiquiu. A memorial mass was celebrated on July 26, 2012 at St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Abiquiu. Interment followed at the Abiquiu Cemetery. Honorary Pallbearers: Cruz, Nicos, Dennis, Estevan, Misha Gallegos, Paul, Gabriella and Abedon Lujan.
