Mary F Fairchild (Grandma Mary)

Mary F. Fairchild, 95, resident of Santa Fe, New Mexico, passed away on February 22, 2021. She was born in Holman, New Mexico on November 20, 1925 to Maximiliano and Manuelita Sanchez.

She is preceded in death by her son; Wiley Fairchild, sister; Fabiola (Nattio), brothers; Dan & Sippy, brothers-in-laws; Fred and Ted, and daughter -in- law; Mary Fairchild.

She is survived by 3 children; Douglas (Cheryl) Fairchild of Tyler Texas, Howard Fairchild, Douglas (Pat) Fairchild of Santa Fe, New Mexico, sisters; Alice and Dolores, sister-in-law; Jenne, 5 grandchildren; John Sr (Anita) Fairchild, Brian (Amy) Fairchild, Wiley Jr (Angela) Fairchild, Lisa & Ruby Lujan. She had 9 great grandchildren; John Jr (Laura) Fairchild, Issac Fairchild (Arriana), Samuel Fairchild (Rachel), Nicole Fairchild (Chris), Isaiah Fairchild, Aiden Fairchild, Lulu Fairchild, Wiley III Fairchild, Isabel Fairchild, 6 great greatgrandchildren; Elijah, Kayla, Noah, Dallas, Dezirae and Braxton.

Mary worked with the nun’s at Loretto Chapel, and worked for both Master Cleaners and Aspen Dry Cleaners. After she retired she babysat for many children and enjoyed her visits with family and friends.

She will be greatly missed by her family, many friends and her church family.

Service will be held on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at Harvest Baptist Church located at 2103 Yucca Street at 11:00 a.m. with Interment to follow the service at Santa Fe Memorial Gardens located at 417 E Rodeo Road, Santa Fe, NM 87505.
