Mary Flossie Ocanas

Mary Flossie Ocanas, 78, of Ranchos de Taos passed peacefully away on December 30, 201. Flossie volunteered and for many years managed the Manos Amigos for San Francisco de Asis Catholic Church and was also a member of the Secular Franciscans. She taught school for many years in Wisconsin and in Taos. She is preceded in death by her husband Manuel Ocanas, sister Minnie Marie Dahlberg and grand daughter Patricia Ocanas. She is survived by her children Diego Ocanas, Tanya Ocanas y Vigil (Michael Veloy Vigil), Marcos Greg Ocanas (Iris G. Ocanas), Dominic Ocanas, 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Rosary was recited on January 02, 2012. Funeral Mass was held on January 03, 2012. Both were held at San Francisco de Asis Catholic Church will burial following at the St. Francisco de Asis Cemetery.
