Mary J. Gurule

Mary J. Gurule, 64, went home to be with our Lord on April 1, 2018. She was a lifelong resident of Santa Fe. She was an amazing Wife, Mother, Sister, Grandmother and Friend. Her love was felt by everyone who knew her. Her sense of humor and contagious laugh will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her brother Michael Gonzales, and maternal grandparents Juan and Petrita Ortega, and nephew L.J. She is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Daniel Gurule, parents: Marcelina and Miguel Gonzales, Ruben Chavez, daughters: Dorothy “Chela”, Manda (Leon), Georgeanna, grandchildren: Jake (Desiree), Angelo, Josh (Perla), Estevan, greatgrandchildren: Noella, Mia, Aurora, siblings: Ramona (Gilbert), Virginia, Diana (Tommy), Michelle, Moises, Connie (Ruben), Edith. As well as many cousins, aunts, uncles, and many special nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her very special friends Frances and Alfonso Aguilar and Donna Herbrand. Visitation will be held at 6:00pm at San Jose Parish in La Cienega, NM on Wednesday April 11, 2018, followed by a Rosary along with the Chaplet of The Divine Mercy which will be recited at 7:00pm. Mass will be held the following day Thursday April 12, 2018 at 10:00am at San Jose Parish.
