Marylin Arellano Gomez passed away in the early morning of January 7th, 2020 peacefully. She grew up in Dixon, New Mexico but also called Espanola, New Mexico her home.
She was born November 24th, 1940. She was 79 years old. She was a lover of animals and a caretaker of many. Marylin was selfless and was seen taking care of those who needed her help. She was the type of woman who had a huge heart who would go above and beyond for those she cared about, including her animals.
Marylin had an infectious laugh that could turn the most mundane moments into unforgettable ones along with a beautiful smile. Anyone who knew her would agree that she had a wonderful mind, vivid imagination and blessed the friends and family who were able to experience it.
Marylin is proceeded in death by her parents Laurencio and Memoranda Arellano, siblings; Elsida Martinez, Lilian Campos, Eloisa Herrera, Lucia Martinez, Isabel “Shaby” Arellano, Margaret “Magge” Ortiz, Elifar Arellano, Anastacio “Tacho” Arellano, Laurencio Jr. Arellano, Jose Ignacio Arellano, and Celestino Arellano.
She is survived by her sister Carlotta Martinez, her son Elias Gomez, daughter in law Linda Gomez, her granddaughters Anisa and Julia Gomez, and many other family members and friends. She will be honored in a private viewing and a forthcoming funeral soon to be announced.
