Mary Lucero

Mary B. Lucero, 95, of Santa Fe, passed away Thursday, January 20, 2022. She was born July 22, 1926 in Chimayo, NM, the daughter of Delfinia Lopez Baca and Cicilio Baca. She and Carlos Jr. Lucero were married November 26, 1949 in Santa Fe. Preceded in death by Her husband Carlos Jr, her son Charles M.Lucero, daughter Charlene Lucero and her parents, Cicilio Baca and Delfinia Lopez Baca.Also preceding her in death were her brothers, Crestino, Eligio & Lorencita Baca, Juan & Isabel Baca, Miguel Baca, Ursulo & Rosina Baca Celso & Beatriz Baca, Eliseo Baca, Carmel Baca and Placido Baca. Mary is survived by her brother, Rosendo (Josie) Baca; sister in laws Susie Baca and Magdalena Baca. Also Brother in law and Sister in law Edwin. & Merlinda Lucero, grandsons Charles (Shanie) Lucero and Chris Lucero; granddaughter, Carmella Lucero (Robert Marquez); Great-grandchildren, Carley, Samuel and Chloe Lucero and Deztiny, Iziah Jazmyn and Joziah Marquez. Also surviving numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and relatives.On behalf of the family of Mary B. Lucero, we wish to thank the staff at St. Anne's Parish Church, Bob with Rivera Family Funeral Home and the staff at the National Cemetery.A rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM Monday, February 14, 2022 at the Rivera Family Kiva Chapel. A rosary will be recited at 9:00 AM Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at St. Anne Catholic Church, where mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at 12:45 PM at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. Pallbearers include Leroy Martin, Samuel Lucero, Manuel Tafoya, and Chris and James Romero.
