Mary "Maida" Smith

Mary (Maida) Smith, age 87 passed away July 16, 2016. She was born in Santa Fe, New Mexico to Ignacita and Alfonso Lujan. Mary is preceded in death by her husband Joe Smith, Sr., daughter Margaret Smith, son Joe Smith, Jr. nephew Johnny J. Montoya and parents Ignacita and Alfonso Lujan. She is survived by her grandsons Shone and Lawrence Smith, nieces Elsie Ruiz (Joe), Dora and Pamela Montoya all of Santa Fe, N.M. and nephew Michael Trujillo of Chimayo, N.M. Mary was a very caring and loving person who touched a lot of hearts. She loved fishing and especially her bingo. A Rosary will be recited Monday, July 25, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Anne’s Parish followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 12:00 p.m. Interment will be at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 2:15 p.m.
