Mary Martinez

Mary “Tessie” Martinez 88, of Chupadero, resident of Santa Fe, NM, born February 20, 1932 passed away on August 13, 2020.

She is preceded in death by her mother Trinidad Vigil, father Emiliano Gonzales, sons, Richard Martinez, Raymond Martinez, Manuel Gonzales, daughter Irene Martinez and father of her children Raymond Martinez.

She is survived by children Annette Martinez, Mona Martinez, Juanita (Trini) Manzanares, Connie Gallegos, Vangie Archuleta, (Matt), Rocky Martinez, Lenora Martinez, 130 grand/great grandchildren, Brother Pete Gonzales, Sisters Toni Alejo, Lenora Wiggins, Lupe, John (Michael), and Jane Gonzales, and many other relatives.

Tessie was a devoted Jehovah's Witness since 1973, she was the most loving and wonderful soul and treated everyone with the same love as family and friends. She had a hand in raising her grandchildren. She loved to sing and dance to her spanish music or just music in general. She was a wonderful mother, wife, grandmother, friend and home maker, she was known for making the best homemade tortillas, potatoes, enchiladas, red chili con carne, & her famous sweet rice.

She will be greatly missed by many.
