Mary Louise Perez Keesing (October 11, 1943 – April 19, 2023)
Louise was born in Santa Fe to Isabel and Vincent Perez. She attended Loretto Academy. She then found and fell in love with Walter John Keesing. They had four children together, Marcelline, John, Christopher, and Tiana. Louise and John raised their children in Santa Fe, Albuquerque, and Picuris Pueblo. She taught her children and growing family traditions of their Native American heritage. Louise worked throughout Santa Fe but spent her final years working at Santa Fe Imaging. Louise had a kind heart, great sense of humor, sassy attitude, and generous spirit. She was always known to keep herself busy, never wanting to stay home. She loved to go to concerts, sew, go bowling, and be out on the town with her daughter Marcy and granddaughter Isabella.
Louise goes on to reunite with her husband John, daughter Tiana, son Christopher, her parents, brothers Michael, Howard and Charles Perez, sisters Florence Trujillo and Arlene Martin, and special niece Jonette Sam.
She leaves behind her daughter Marcelline Willard, son John Keesing, sons-in-law David Willard and Arthur Meyers, brothers Robert Perez, Richard Perez (Ellen), James Perez (Laura) and granddaughters Isabella Willard, Caitlyn Rodriguez, and Georgianna Sisk. She also leaves behind many nephews, nieces, family members and friends.
She was loved immensely in life, she will be missed and celebrated greatly.
