Matthew Lujan

Matthew Jacob Lujan, 39, a life long resident of Santa Fe, New Mexico passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 29th, 2021.Matthew was a loving uncle of; Patricia Boydston, Monique Evans, Andres Saenz Jr., Angelique Evans, Dominique Evans, Joy Boydston, Jyn Boydston, and his grandnephew Truitt Cordova. He was passionate about snowboarding, hunting, fishing, reading, opera, debate, and travel. He enjoyed genuine encounters and loved to test the limits. Matthew was a firm believer in philosophy and the principles taught throughout various religions. His presence is sorely missed and his loss is felt by so many. Matthew provided a light for so many shared a sense of charisma to all walks of life.Matthew is predeceased by his sister Jacquelyn Claire Boydston/Saenz, cousin Nicholas Gonzalas, uncle Joseph Dubois, grandmother Celia Dubois, grandfather Alberto Dubois, and father Alfred Lujan. He is survived by his mother Margaret Dubois, companion Mindy McClung, brothers Christopher Joy Boydston and Albert Evans, sister-in-laws Consuelo Evans and Stephanie Boydston, brother Timoteo Lujan, and sister Jill Lujan.Contributions could be made in Matt’s memory at Rivera Funeral Home. Rosary and memorial will be held at Rivera Funeral Home on Thursday, September 2nd at 6:00 p.m. Mass will be held Friday September 3rd at 10:00 a.m. at San Isidro Church on Agua Fria Street. Burial following at San Jose Catholic Cemetery in La Cieniga. Reception to follow, location given upon request.
