Matthew Matty Solano

Mr. Matthew William Solano, PIC Age 70, passed away peacefully on December 27, 2012, U.S. Marine, lifelong resident of Santa Fe, NM called to be an angel for the family he left behind. He is survived by his brothers: Fred, Roman and Joe Solano; also by his children: Tina and Annette Solano, daughters of Eloise with grandchildren Jessica, Raul Jr., Robert, Adrian, Jasmine, Veronica, Francisco, Annjannette and great grandchildren Josiah, Kobe, Aliyah. He was a very loving person and will be missed dearly. He is preceded in death by his mother and father, Julian and Eufemia Solano; sisters: Sylvia Marie Solano and Judy Montoya; and brother, Ernest Solano. A funeral service were held on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at 12:00 p.m. (noon) at the Rivera Family Funeral Home Chapel in Santa Fe, NM. Interment ttok place at 2:15pm at the Santa Fe National Cemetery the same day with military honors. The family would like to thank everyone for their kind words and support during this difficult time.
