Max Berliner, a loving son, brother, husband, father and grandfather, passed away on May 12, 2008, in Santa Fe, New Mexico. He was born on August 15, 1913, in Vienna, Austria; the son of Rudolf and Katharina Berliner. Max and his wife Natalie, who survives him, lived for 27 years at Hideaway Lake in Carriere, after moving there from New Orleans. They were married 62 years. He is also survived by his daughter, Judith Watson, and her husband, Paul Ogden; granddaughter Jennifer Zemanek, and her husband, Paul, of Santa Monica, California; first cousin Leo Newman of New York City; nephews Roger and Ernest Berliner, and their families, of Asheboro, North Carolina; and many friends in Santa Fe and Mississippi. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Ernst Berliner; Max is buried at Santa Fe Memorial Gardens.
