Mela R. Vigil

Mela R. Vigil, 77 – A resident of Santa Fe, New Mexico passed away on October 8, 2018. She was born January 1, 1941 to Guadalupita and Juan Maes. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tony Vigil; son, Robert Vigil, Sr., parents: Guadalupita and Juan Maes; sisters: Louise Maes, Dora Rodriguez, Isabel Trujillo, Susie Montoya and Irene Dowrey; brother, Eloy Maes. She is survived by her daughter, Diana Barela; sons: Kevin and Charles Vigil; sisters: Connie Howley and Marie Roybal; brothers: Michael and Gilbert Maes; grandchildren: Bobby, Aaron, Jordan, Antonio and Leandra and Monique Vigil, Stephanie and Tonia Barela and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 16, 2018, at St. Anne’s Church. The mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at St. Anne’s Church with a burial to follow at 11:15 a.m. at Rosario Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Bobby Vigil, Monique Vigil and Aaron Vigil. The arrangements are under the care of Rivera Family Funeral Home.
