Meredith Roybal

June 3, 1972 — October 26, 2022

Meredith Phaedra (Herrera) Roybal, born in Santa Fe, NM on June 3rd went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, October 26th 2022 after health complications. Phaedra was a resident of Coyote and Santa Fe, NM.

Phaedra grew up in Coyote where she was raised with her cousins, uncles, aunts and other family members. She graduated from Coronado High School as Valedictorian of her class. She attended College of Santa Fe and was a Certified Pharmacy Technician. She worked for various pharmacies in Santa Fe including Wal-Mart, Del Norte and most recently at La Familia Medical Clinic. She was an exemplary employee and was loved by everyone who came in contact with her. Phaedra loved helping people. She did not hesitate to drop what she was doing to help where needed. She was a Generous, Caring, Loving, Sweet and Kind person. Her Family and Friends adored her. She brought joy to everyone who knew her and was a bright light shining in a dark world. Phaedra loved her doggies (Coco, Melanie and Duke who have all passed away within the past couple of years) . Most recently she brought Tiffany and Sandy home to be part of her life and they loved her as much as she adored them. Tiffany and Sandy never left her side and brought so much joy to her life. They are saddened by her sudden disappearance.

Phaedra was beautiful inside and out. She had an incredible faith in God, she loved her church family and connected with everyone she encountered. Her kindness and love for others was infectious, a trait she inherited from her mother. Her prayers were absolutely beautiful and AMAZING!!! If you never had the privilege of hearing her pray, you missed out. She met the "Love Of Her Life" on Halloween 7 years ago and married 2 years later. Her life with Albert was cut short, however the love they shared was unconditional and the memories will last a lifetime. She was selfless, an amazing Daughter, Incredible Wife, Stepmom, Godmother, Sister, Niece, Cousin, Best Friend, Friend and co-worker. She had a strong bond with her Mom and it is no surprise she went to be with her so soon after her Mom died. Although Phaedra grew up in the mountains of northern New Mexico, she had an incredible love for the ocean and lighthouses. She loved collecting angel figurines and it is no surprise everywhere you turn you see an angel on a shelf or angel wings hanging as part of her decor.

She is survived by her beloved husband Albert Roybal, stepdaughters Katlyn (Zachary), Ashlee (Corinne), Zachary (Alba), and Arianna (Ivan), father Pete Garcia, half brothers: Norbert, Vides, Randy, Tim & Tom. She is also survived by her maternal Aunts and Uncles: Veronica (Helario, (deceased)); Albertina (Johnny, (deceased)); Emily (Richard, Phil (deceased)); Jerrie (Adrian); Drucie (Clemente); Estevan (Esther), Abram (who was like a big brother to her); Godsons, Josiah and Levi Rae; and Goddaughter, Savannah; Valerie and Judy who grew up as sisters with Phaedra.

Phaedra is preceded in death by her Mom, Juanita Herrera (2018), half sister Verna (2019), Grandfather, Juan Herrera (1996); Grandmother, Amada Herrera (2012); Aunt, Amy Baca (2013), Uncle, Ciriaco Herrera (2014) plus other beloved family members.
