Michael Kokin

Michael (Mike) Kokin of Santa Fe passed away on Sunday, Nov. 29, 2015. He was born in the Bronx in 1936 and lived there till he was 20 years old. In October of 1957 he married his soulmate Carol. They started a marriage that just reached their 58th anniversary, Besides his cherished wife, Mike leaves his beloved daughters Julie, Alena and Marci, his much loved son in law, Jerry Miller and the light of his life, grandson Alex Miller. He will be missed by so many friends, relatives and everyone whose lives he touched. He traveled the world for business and pleasure with Carol and made lifelong friends almost everywhere he went. People remember him for his smile, his generosity, his kind, open and genuine nature. Mike was a savvy and successful business man and was an avid collector of antiques, automobiles, militaria and history books. Funeral Services will be on Wednesday, Dec. 2nd, 12:00 Noon, at Rivera Family Kiva Chapel, 417 East Rodeo Road, Santa Fe, NM. Phone: 505 989-7023.
