Miguel Pena

Miguel Cyril Pena, 66 of Taos, passed away on May 8, 2009. Miguel was a self employed architect who was known for his love of the game of pool, art, wood carving and drawing. Miguel's sense of humor and optimism was demonstrated through the many lives he touched. He is preceded in death by daughter Donaire Teresa Pena, mother, Emelia Lujan, father, Lee Pena and brother, Charlie Pena. He is survived by children Robert Pena, Mei Lan (Lloyd) Pena Williams, Charmagne Cayanan, Dr. Janisse (Ray) Cayanan Rears, Dr. Nikki (Greg) Cayanan Schaper, Gregory Romero, LeAndra (Joseph) Romero Cordova and Matthew Romero. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Monique Pena, Isabella Rears, Alexander Rears, Angelina Garrett, and Sophia Rears. Surviving siblings include, Gloria Litts, Tisha Greenman, Rosela Trujillo, Marcia Pena Thompson, John Pena and by the nieces and nephews who loved him. Rosary was recited on May 11, 2009 at Rivera Chapel. Funeral mass was held on May 12, 2009 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Taos.
