Mike "Rudy" Gallegos

Mike “Rudy” Gallegos, 71, a resident of Espanola passed away peacefully at his residence surrounded by his family on Wednesday November 15, 2018. Mr. Gallegos was born September 7, 1947 in Fairview. He worked at Northern New Mexico College until his retirement. He enjoyed camping, fishing, and playing the drums. Mr. Gallegos was preceded in death by his parents, Miguel and Idalia Gallegos, a sister Naedin Gallegos and father-in-law Antonio Garcia. He is survived by his wife, Rafaelita Gallegos and their 3 children, Antonio Gallegos, Christine Gallegos and Delfido Gallegos; 2 grandsons, Tony Gallegos, and Christopher Romero, Sisters, Betty Andrade, Irene Rizo, Frances Mascarenas, Joann Trujillo, and Tina Lopez. Step-Mother, Maria Elena Gallegos and 2 step-brothers, Miguel Gallegos and Eric Gallegos, and Mother-in-law, Eloisa Garcia of Dixon, and many other relatives and friends. A Rosary will be held on Monday, November 26, 2018, 9:30 am, with the Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:30 am, at San Juan Catholic Church, Ohkay Owingeh, NM. Interment will follow at Las Tablas cemetery.
