Mike S. Tenorio

Mike S. Tenorio, 79, of Arroyo Seco passed away on May 20, 2016. He retired from teaching at Taos Junior High and Taos High School in 1983. He was a member of the Holy Trinity Church and director of the church choir. He was a musician, played guitar for Los Taosenos and recorded several CD’s. Mike was an outdoorsman and loved to fish and hunt up to time of his automobile accident. He was an avid bowler in the bowling league where won many trophies. He loved the Dallas Cowboys, the LA Lakers and New Mexico Lobos. He served his country in the New Mexico National Guard. He is survived by his wife, Oclides Tenorio, sons, Michael Tenorio (Marlene) of Las Vegas, NM, Andrew Tenorio of Arroyo Seco, NM, daughters, Regina Gorum of Albuquerque, NM and Edwina Tenorio (Eric) of Albuquerque, NM, grandchildren, Estrella, Estevan and Enrico Tenorio, Craig and Maya Gorum, brothers in-law, Celestino Quintana (Clorinda), Boliver Quintana (Elvira), sister in-law, Elisa Romero, other relatives and friends. Visitation was held on May 24, 2016 at Rivera Chapel. Rosary was recited on May 24, 2016. Funeral mass was held on May 25, 2016. Both services were held at Holy Trinity Church.
