Nancy Romero

Nancy M. Romero, 91, of Taos, NM passed away peacefully on August 11, 2017, with her daughter and son at her side. Nancy was born on November 25, 1925 in Taos, NM. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elfido Romero, parents Jose Isidro and Cirilita Montoya, brothers, Junior and Christopher Montoya, sisters, Lourdes and Loyola Montoya and Dora Roybal, son, Ronald Romero, grandson, Christopher Romero and great-granddaughter, Kendall Hendren. She is survived by her daughter, Judy (Pancho) Martinez and son, David (Glenda) Romero. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Aaron (Sarah), Camille (Mark), Francesca, Tanya, Victor (Allison), Bobby (Cheryl), Tanya and Adam, 13 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. Nancy was known for her beautiful smile and sweet personality. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas. Rosary was held on August 18, 2017 at Our Lady of Guadalupe. Funeral mass was celebrated on August 19 at Our Lady of Guadalupe. Pallbearers will be Aaron Romero, Victor Martinez, Mark Gonzales, Adam Romero, Koby Gonzales, and Damian Romo.
