Nathan is survived by his mother Alice Carter; brothers Elmer Carter and David Quintana; and his Tio and friend Sef Perea; nephews and nieces Nicolas and Desiree Vialpando, Richard and Jose Carter and Leo and Ella Quintana. He is also survived by his longtime friend, girlfriend and caregiver Thyria Sandoval and her family who loved Nathan as their own, Angelique Armenta and Melody and Divinity Mascarenas. Nathan also leaves behind cousins who were more like siblings, close aunts, uncles and many other friends. He loved being with family, watching the Packers, but mostly loved the serenity of a lake or river while fishing. It didn’t matter if he was by himself, with his brother, Elmer, or teaching others how to fish, it was his happy place.
Nathan is preceded in death by his father Chuck Carter, his brother Charlie Carter, his sister Lavina Carter, and nephew Patricio Vigil.
