Natividad Anaya

Natividad Anaya, December 25, 1939 - March 20, 2022

Our beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, March 20, 2022 with his family by his side.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Tillie and Jose D. Anaya and in-laws, Christina and Alfredo Rivera. Siblings; Ramona and Bernie Carpenter, Rita and Mariano C de Baca, Gilbert Anaya, Betty and Robert Martinez, and grandson Nathaniel “Nano” Anaya.

He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Helen, whom he called “Sunshine”. Sons, Peter and Jimmy, daughters; Barbara (Louie) Beatrice, Tina (Charlie). Grandchildren; Mandie (Richard), Vangie (Ryan) Tiffany (Tony), Andrea, Arturo, Elias, Eleonor, Xavier, Kasandra and Alec. Great grandchildren; Antonio, Anjel, Lorenzo, Angelo, Izaiah V., Benny, Vivian, Santi, Luka and Izaiah A and many nieces and nephews.

Nat worked for the City of Santa Fe for 26 years and retired as a supervisor of Property Control. He will always be loved and dearly missed by his loving family and by numerous friends. Nat was a very kind and generous man with a heart of gold for those in need.

A Rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at 417 East Rodeo Road Santa Fe, NM 87505 Rivera Kiva Chapel of Light. Mass will be on March 31, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Cristo Rey Church with burial to follow at Santa Fe Memorial Gardens.
