Nazario Archuletta

Nazario (Nick) Archuletta, 91, a resident of San Leandro, California, passed away August 31, 2008 in Penasco, New Mexico. He was born on April 24, 1917 in Pilar, New Mexico. Nick retired as an electrician from the Berkeley Lab at the University of California. He and Dolores loved to travel after his retirement and enjoyed gardening and his family. He was a longtime member of the Knights of Columbus. He is preceded in death by his wife Dolores and daughter, Eva Walling. He is survived by sons, Art Archuletta of Penasco and Hank Archuletta (Janet) of San Ramon, California, son in law, Joe Walling, 12 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 3 great great- grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. Rosary was recited on September 5, 2008 at Rivera Chapel. Funeral mass was held on September 6, 2008 at San Francisco de Asis Church in Ranchos de Taos.
