Nellie Anaya

Nellie Rose Anaya age 75 of Santa Fe, New Mexico passed away November 20, 2016. She was born August 29, 1941. Nellie is preceded in death by her parents Lillian and Fidel Valdez. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Ignacio Anaya, two children, two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and two brothers. Nellie was a Loretto Academy graduate. All her life she took care of her family, from her mother to her great-grandkids. She won over the hearts of everyone she met and accepted them in the family with open arms. She will be missed by many loved ones and friends. A Viewing will be held Tuesday, November 29, 2016 from 5 - 6 p.m. at the Rivera Family Funeral Home Kiva Chapel of Light. A second Viewing will be at Santa Maria de la Paz from 6:30-7:00 p.m. followed by Rosary recital at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Santa Maria de la Paz.
