Nepumoceno Saavedra

Nepumoceno Sasavedra, a long time resident of Santa Fe, was born April 29, 1935, passed away April 26, 2008. He is preceded in death by his wife, of 50 years, M. Carmen Saavedra. He is survived by his sons, Edward and Duane Saavedra and wife Lorraine; daughter Laura Chavez and husband Joe; grandchildren, Adrian, Shamatay, Neppy, Gabe Saavedra, and Tracey Chavez; goddaughter Pamela Padilla and husband Eddie; great-grandchildren Kianah Shafer; and two sisters, Virginia, and Tivie; and many other friends and family members whom will miss him sorely. Nepumoceno was very proud to have served his country as a full-time Army National Guardsmen. Honorary Pallbearers will be all his friends from the Senior Center in Santa Fe. Visitation starts at 6 p.m. A Rosary will be recited Wednesday, April 30, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. at Santa Fe Funeral Options; 417 East Rodeo Road, Santa Fe, NM .
