Noah Watson

Noah Watson passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, June 5, 2023, surrounded by his family.  Noah was 92 and was born in Gallup, New Mexico to Noah Watson Sr. and Juanita Watson.  He is preceded in death by his wife of 63 years.  Della Watson, his son Leroy Watson and great granddaughter, Destiny Herrera, sister Emma Baca, brothers Orlando Watson and Rudy Watson,  He is survived by his son, Robert Watson, daughters Diana Watson, Irene Trujillo and Erlinda Catanach (Ron), brothers George and Charlie Watson (Pat) and sister Della Spencer, grandchildren, Angeline Watson (Steve), Bobby, Eric and Brandon Trujillo, Brian Catanach (Felicia), and Kevin Catanach, great grandchildren, Ariah, Alyssa and Marissa Trujillo, Dominic, Aubriana, Arian, and Aribella Catanach and many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Noah served in the U.S. Army from 1953-1955 he enjoyed working in his yard and growing different fruit trees.  One of his favorite hobbies was playing his guitar and singing.  He will be greatly missed.  Services will be held on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at Rivera’s Funeral Home, 417 Rodeo Rd., 87505.  A viewing will begin at 11:00am, followed by a memorial service at 12:00pm.  Burial will take place at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 1:30 pm.
