Nohemi Dominguez

Mrs. Nohemi Dominguez age 64 of Espanola, NM. Died peacefully in the presence of her family on Thursday December 2, 2010. She was born in Chihuahua, Mexico to the late Crescencio and Francisca Salido in 1947. A longtime resident of Espanola, Mrs. Dominguez was also preceded in death by her brothers Daniel and Francisco Salido of El Paso, TX. She was a happy & friendly person who most enjoyed attending church, visiting family in El Paso and going to the store and shopping for clothes. She was endearing towards her husband and loving to her family-greeting everyone with a hug & a kiss. Despite health challenges, she remained optimistic, and always looked forward to going fishing with her husband, although being afraid of bears. She is remembered fondly by her husband Fermin, children; Esli Dominguez and wife April of Chimayo, Joel Dominguez of Espanola, Nohemi Lopez and husband Isidro of Medenales, Abner Dominguez and wife Celina of Penasco, Eva Dominguez and husband Raymundo of Santa Fe, Juan Dominguez and wife Julie of Medenales, and siblings; Esau Salido, Rafa Martinez, Betty Lara, Placida Ahedo, Moises Salido, Obed Salido and Tito Salido all of El Paso, TX., and grandchildren Susan, Elvira, Lluvia, Angela, Ashley, Yesenia, Chantel, Kayla, Leslie, Juanito, Adam, Esli, Jr. and Isaiah and great granddaughter Jaslene. Mrs. Dominguez will lie in repose on Friday December 3rd at The Apostolic Praise Temple in Dixon from 5-7 p.m., with an evening prayer service beginning at 6:00 p.m. The funeral service will take place on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. also at church with interment to follow at the Apostolic Cemetery in Dixon. Serving as pallbearers will be: Fermin-her husband, Esli, Abner, Juan, Isidro, Raymundo, Isidro, Jr. Honorary pallbearers include Nohemi, Eva-her two daughters, her sisters Betty and Rafa, and her daughter in laws Celina, Julie, and April.
