Nora Archuleta, 80, passed away in Chicago, IL on November 19, 2009. She was born in N. La Veta, CO on January 21, 1929 to Gil Blas and Clorinda Gallegos. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Jerry; sister Mercy Sears; and brother Arsenio Gallegos She is survived by 7 sons and 1 daughter Ricardo (Frances) of Manteca, CA; Gerald (Betsy) of Cerro; Eddie (Diana) of Cerro; Charles (Bernadette) of Thornton, CO; Jerry (Linda) of Pueblo, CO; Mike (Carolina) of Chicago, IL; Lawrence of Cerro; Mary (Timo) Padilla of Chicago, IL; 8 sisters, Tillie Berryhill of Dallas, TX; Emily Foster of Cerro; Edna Carr of Duncanville, TX; Joyce Hyatt of Sulphur Springs, TX; Jean (Arnold) Cisneros of Questa; Carolyn Gallegos (Barlo) of Cerro; Ruth (Tomas) Archuleta of Cerro; Pat (Charles) Lester of La Quinta, CA; 5 brothers Joe (Gloria) Gallegos of Cerro; Albert Gallegos (Veronica) of Albuquerque; Gil (Margaret) Gallegos of Taos; Adonario (Petronila) Gallegos of Questa; Chris (Eva) Gallegos of Questa; 22 grandchildren; 51 great Grandchildren. Services were held on November 23, 2009 at Rivera Chapel. Funeral services were held on November 24, 2009. Both services were held at Rivera Chapel in Taos. Interment followed at the Brethren Cemetery in Canon.
