Norbert Cardenas

Norbert J. Cardenas, 79, of Ranchos de Taos, passed away on January 14, 2020.  He was a very proud Vietnam Veteran who actively served in the United States Army.  He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Adolfo and Romancita Fresquez and mother, Juanita Chapman.  He is survived by his son, Chris N. Cardenas (Lorraine), daughter, Wendy Martinez (Leandro “Penny”), grandchildren, Christopher, Tamara (Chris), Kylee, Patricio (Megan) and Benito Cruz,  three great grandchildren, brother, Benjamin (Joann) sisters, Tina (Pancho), Carmella (Richard) and Marilyn, brothers, Louie and Willy Cordova and Ricky Cardenas who he considered as a brother, other relatives and friends. 

Rosary will be held on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at 6 PM at Rivera Chapel.  Funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at 10 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church with interment to follow at the Dolores Cemetery in El Prado.  Arrangements by Rivera Family Funeral Home, Taos.  To share a memory, please visit our website at www.riverafuneralhome.com
