Norma Martinez-Perry

Norma Martinez-Perry, age 82, of Elgin, IL., formerly of Santa Fe, passed away on Monday, September 18, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family. Norma was born in Madrid, NM on June 28, 1935 and was the daughter of the late Honorable Judge Alfredo D. & Lora Martinez. She was preceded in death by her brothers; Alfredo L. (Margaret) and Eloy A. (Frances) Martinez and sisters; Cora (Martin) Martinez and Aurora Felix. She’s survived by her husband of 61 years, James Perry. Their five children: Barbara (Gary) Ferguson, Christina (Scott Olds) Perry, Angela (Scott) Chesley, Timothy (Laura) Perry and Michelle Perry. Brothers; Deacon Juan (Mary Jane), Joe J. (Louise), Jimmie (Florine), Dr. Charles Leo (Rose Ellen) Martinez and her sister; Anita Aldeis. She is survived by four generations of grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral Mass will be on Wednesday, October 25,, 2017 at 10:00am at the Cathedral Basilica of St Francis of Assisi. Burial to follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Thank You Rivera Family Funeral Home.
