Oliver Rodarte

Oliver Ollie Rodarte, 54, of Chamisal passed away on August 4, 2012. Oliver was a US Army Veteran, was very social, and enjoyed artwork, making jewelry, sketching and making dream catchers. He is preceded in death by his grandparents: Trinidad and Elizita Martinez, Diego and Matilda Lovato, and Frumencio and wife Eliza Rodarte, aunt Felicita Romero, numerous siblings and other relatives. He is survived by his parents: Joseph Oliver and Elsie Rodarte of Chamisal, daughter Geri Lyn Snyder of Arizona, siblings, Julie Ewing and husband David of Missouri, Jose Rodarte and wife Neomi of Cubero, NM, brother Chris Rodarte of Chamisal, Gail Marez and husband Carl all of Chamisal and Elmer Enos Rodarte and wife Veanna of Grants, NM, and numerous aunts, uncles, nephews nieces and cousins. A rosary was recited on August 7, 2012. A Funeral Mass was celebrated on August 8, 2012. Both services were held at San Antonio de Padua Catholic Church in Penasco. Interment followed at Lower Chamisal Cemetery.
