Oren R. Bewley

Oren Ray Bewley, 77 a resident of Los Ojos, passed away October 17, 2011 at 5:45a.m. at the Espanola Nursing and Rehabilitation Center after a long battle with Parkinsons Disease. Oren was a very special man who did many things in his lifetime including ranching, farming, horse training and truck driving to name a few. He was passionate about everything he did but especially had a passion for his family. He was happiest when he was surrounded by his family. He always had a smile and a joke for everyone he met. He is survived by his wife of forty years Jeamie Bewley, children Spark Bewley, Neil Bewley and Shawna Porter, his sister Lavora Salas and brothers Turk Bewley, Wilmer Bewley and Pete Bewley. He is also survived by step children Debbie McKee, Russell McKee, Brian McKee, seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. A memorial service was held October 22, 2011 at the Ghost Ranch in Abiquiu.
