Patricia Ann Ortega

Patricia Ann Ortega, 47, an Elementary School Teacher in Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 26th. She was born in 1968 in Embudo, New Mexico. She attended the University of New Mexico and obtained a degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Mathematics. She later obtained her Masters degree from Leslie College in 1998. She began her teaching career with the Clark County School District in Las Vegas, Nevada in 1992. Most recently, she worked at Jim Thorpe Elementary School in Henderson, Nevada. Patricias biggest love in life was her family. She enjoyed music, dancing, and singing. Her kindness, love, and dedication to her career was unsurpassed. She is survived by her husbands Mark, sons Joshua, daughters Alicia, mother, Betty, father, Marvin, sisters, Julie and Tina, and brother, Marvin Jr., and many nieces and nephews in New Mexico. Rosary service will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Cerro NM on Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at 6 PM.
