Patrick Ryan Keith born March 25, 1949, went to be with the Lord on August 16, 2011. He was originally from Hammond, Indiana, and more recently of Espanola, New Mexico. He worked as a heavy equipment motor repairman in the Chicago steel mills and later as a medical equipment installer and technician when he moved to Denver, and later to Trinidad, CO. His passion for life was underscored by his faith in the Lord Jesus. As a result of his faith and his love of music, he pursued many opportunities to serve as a Bible study and Sunday School teacher, to sing in church choirs and be part of praise worship teams at different churches he attended. His most treasured experience was serving as Pastor at one of the baptist churches in Trinidad, CO., which then provided the honor of officiating at his niece, Erin Keth's wedding. Patrick was an Air Force Veteran, serving as an air traffic controller. An avid home remodeler, his work endures as a testament to his meticulous attention to detail. Patrick is survived by his wife; Hazel Rosalie Keith, his children; Rachel Fauts-Hyatt of Colorado, Michael Gabriel Zuehlke and wife Megan of North Carolina, Rhett Patrick Zuehkle of Denver, and Stephanie Antony and husband Travis of Denver; his brothers, Mike Zuehlke and wife Linda of Denver, Dan Keith, William Keith and wife Lori of Indiana; his grandchildren, Sydney Grace, Macey Joy, Elley Hope, Garrett, Hayden and Norah Jane. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene Zuehlke and Margaret Juanita Keith and his grandson, Harrison. Patrick will be remembered for his outrageous sense of humor, his gardens and his delight in God's creation. He enjoyed the Colorado mountains and the ever changing scenery of the Colorado landscape. Patrick loved his family and will be remembered for his concern and prayers for them.
Patrick lived with this promise as his life support and hope:
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future". Jeremiah 29:11
