Patrick R. Maestas Jr.

Patrick R. Maestas Jr., age 39, a resident of Espanola, NM, passed away on December 27, 2015. He was born on September 13, 1976 to Mary Roybal Maestas and Pat W. Maestas. He was preceded in death by his father, Pat W. Maestas, son, Daniel Maestas, daughter, Brittany Maestas, sister, Georgia Maestas and brother, Andrew Maestas. He is survived by his wife Caroline Valdez Maestas, son, Patrick Maestas III, mother, Mary Roybal Maestas, mother-in-law Jenny Ruiz, father-in-law Raul Ruiz, sister and brother in law Vicky and Vicente Martinez, father-in-law Paul H. Valdez, Special Nino Gilbert Valdez, special aunt, Angela Leal, uncles, Emory, Henry, Dennis and Frank, Joe Maestas, aunts, Mary Velazquez, Martha Vigil, Lorenza Sandoval, Ida Vigil and Sally Avila, special cousins James and Jerry Wright, and Paul Sandoval and many special cousins and other relatives. Patrick loved working and painting cars especially oldies. His favorite football team was the Denver Broncos. His son Patrick III was his pride and joy. Serving the family as pallbearers will be; Gilbert Valdez, Leroy Roybal, Michael Gallegos, Joey Vigil, Eloy “Gramps” Roybal, Rocky Gonzales and Michael Chacon. Honorary pallbearers will be Paul Sandoval, Vicente Martinez and Vicente Martinez Jr. A public visitation will be held at 4:00 pm at Rivera Family Funeral Home in Espanola. A Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at 7:00 pm at Rivera Family Funeral Home, in Espanola, NM. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, December 31, 2015 at 2:00 pm. Santa Cruz de la Canada Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Santa Cruz Cemetery.
